Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Your account: your email address and name, and the workspace you belong to. Sign-in is by emailed link; we don't collect passwords.
• What you put in Connect: the companies in your pipeline, contact names, titles, phone numbers and email addresses you add or import, notes, statuses, activity you log, and your email templates.
• The GC directory: business information about general contractors (company name, address, phone, website, license details), mostly from public state contractor license-board records, plus companies users add.
• Basic technical data: server and security logs (such as IP address, browser type and request times) kept by our hosting and database providers.

How we use it

To run Connect: signing you in, showing your pipeline and the directory, filling in and sending the campaign emails you start, and keeping the service secure. We don't sell personal information, and we don't use your pipeline data for advertising.

Who can see your data

Your pipeline, contacts, notes, activity and templates are visible only to members of your workspace. Directory entries (company-level business information) are visible to all Connect users. SRENE staff can access data when needed to support you, keep the service secure, or comply with the law.

Google user data

If you choose to send campaign emails from your Gmail account, SRENE Connect asks Google for one permission: send email on your behalf (the gmail.send scope).

• What we access: only the ability to send messages. Connect cannot read, search, list, modify or delete anything in your Gmail account, and doesn't receive your Google password.
• How we use it: only to send the campaign emails you review and start, to the recipients in your pipeline, from your own address. Each send is logged in your pipeline as an activity (date, subject and touch number).
• Storage: Google gives your browser a short-lived access token (about one hour). It stays in your browser's memory and is never sent to or stored on SRENE's servers. We don't store copies of your Gmail messages beyond the subject line logged in your activity.
• Sharing: we don't share, sell or transfer Google user data to anyone, and we don't use it for advertising or to train AI models.
• Revoking access: remove SRENE Connect at myaccount.google.com/permissions at any time.

SRENE Connect's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service providers

We use Supabase (database and sign-in), Netlify (website hosting) and Resend (sign-in emails). They process data only to provide those services to us.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep your data while your workspace is active. You can delete prospects, notes and activity yourself at any time. To delete your account or workspace, email info@srene.io and we'll do it within 30 days. Company-level information you've added to the shared directory (company name, address, phone, website, trade) stays in SRENE's directory after your account is deleted, as described in our Terms of Use. If you want your own company removed from the directory, or kept from being contacted, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited by workspace at the database level. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us right away at info@srene.io if you notice anything wrong.

Children

Connect is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date here, and tell users by email for significant changes.
